- Prevention, Deterrence & Protection:
Prevent, deter, and
protect against Threats, Risks and
Hazards.
- Emergency Assessment & Diagnosis: Detect an
incident;
determine its impact, classify the
incident,
conduct general monitoring, and notify Site Management and Emergency
Services,
if needed. Always document all incidents.
- Emergency Management Response: Direct, control,
and
coordinate a response; provide
emergency
information to the Site Management at risk, and the Emergency Services;
assist
and follow their directions.
- Public & Property Protection: Provide
initial warnings
about risks and hazards,
notifying the
right persons and agencies; provide support; and assist with crowd
control,
traffic and access to the affected areas.
- Investigation & Apprehension:
Assist in investigating the cause and source of the risks, hazards
or danger;
prevent secondary risks, hazards or danger. Identify, assist and give
intelligence to Law Enforcement personnel to help them apprehend those
responsible.
- Recovery & Remediation: Assist
Emergency and Site Personnel to restore essential services, to restore
business
and commerce; assist crews restore and render the
affected
areas; help restore a sense of security, safety and well-being in our
community.
